Going On to Central America

We will be in Guayaquil, Ecuador in a few weeks and will be shipping our vans to Panama. It's anybody's guess how long the shipping will take.
I was wondering if Steve and Michael (and anybody else) were still planning to join us in Panama? When would you be leaving the States heading for Panama?
