Some Progress

A brief note. This morning I dropped off the car at the Caraval lot at Puerto Suape. That went fairly smoothly, and soon Antonio was on his way back to Teresina.
I spent the rest of the day in Recife trying to arrange the shipping. Things aren't settled yet, but I've got a spot on the Sea Panther, due to arrive in Recife on Saturday November 4th. Based on my experiences with shipping, I'll be amazed if the van makes it on board.
I'm hoping to be able to fly back to the states by the weekend. Olinda is very nice, and under other circumstances I wouldn't mind spending a week or two here. Right now, however, I just need to be in a safe place, and that means home.
