Hmmm, how do I begin, well I¥ll begin in California. I went to
stay wiht my Aunt Jeanne in Santa Rosa for a month and got to know my
Aunt and my Cousin, Jennifer, because I had only met them once in my
life that I can remember. So, I hung there for a month and got to see
San Francisco and Berkley, it was pretty cool to see. So after a month
we left for Carson City and then on we drove across America. Nothing
real big happend until we got to Louisiana and celebrated my 15th Birthday
(might I add it was the best birthday I have had in a really long time).
So after that we drove to Miami where it was really hot and the hotel
we were at stunk very bad in my opinion. But, I did get to see my mom
so it was okay.
Then we flew to Aruba then Caracas. It was cool until we couldn't
find our bags. Then my aunt was informed that they had left our bags
in Aruba and said that they will come the next day. The bags weren't
delivered until 2 days later so we wore the same clothes for a day and
went to the market and bought some more clothes of the street. Caracas
was hot, loud, and dirty in my opinion except I did like to watch the
traffic go by, it was like watching NASCAR. After a couple of days in
Caracas we decided to go to Salto Angel which was really cool except,
I had real bad stomach sickness with everything included. But I think
I hung in there pretty well for having to be on a boat for 5 hrs. strait.
Anyways it was a spectacular sight got some pictures. After that we
went back to Caracas spent a couple days there nothing special happend.
Then we got to Merida which is a really cool place. I like it alot
because the weather is nice I can walk around and not have to worry
as much if I am going to get my pokets picked, but the one thing I don¥t
like about South America is the stares I get, I mean people will be
right in front of you or walking by you and they will just stare. But
I get more than kind of stare like some people will stare right through
you or, stare at you like you are royalty or, the most common one I
get is the "what the hell are you doing in my country!?!"
Sometimes I even get pointed at. But I guess I will have to get used
to it , cause' i'm sure it's like that every where else.
Even though its a third world country, it has alot of stuff America
has. Like yesterday we went to the movies to see X-Men, it was in english
with spanish subtitles. and the other day I went to the arcade and played
Tony Hawk pro skater. the arcades are different though, they are just
a room with tvs and game systems and you pay to play an half hour or
full hour. I told you pretty much every thing so far but I must go cause
I dont know if I have enough money to pay for the computer time.
